APP TOUR KICKS OFF IN PUNTA GORDA ON JAN 11!

The APP (Association of Pickleball Professionals) kicks of their 2023 tournament season at the PicklePlex in Punta Gorda, Florida with the APP SUNMED Punta Gorda Open. The 2023 APP Tour has 16 stops nationwide with events January through December.
Punta Gorda is quickly becoming a hot spot for pickleball enthusiasts. The town has shown its support for the nation's fastest growing sport by building a state-of-the-art facility called PicklePlex. The Association of Pickleball Professionals has shown their appreciation by including Punta Gorda in their nationwide tour for the third consecutive year.
For those of you who haven't heard, PicklePlex is a multi-court pickleball complex that caters to players of all skill levels. The facility features 16 pickleball courts, an on-site pro shop, and LED tournament-level lighting. It is located on the Punta Gorda campus of Florida SouthWestern State College.
One of the unique features of PicklePlex is its commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all players. The facility offers clinics and lessons for beginners, as well as organized leagues and tournaments for more advanced players. Courts are open Sunday - Saturday from 7am - 10pm. Annual memberships starts at $200 & seasonal memberships start at $150. Non-members can pay a $10 drop in fee. On Saturdays & Sundays from 12pm - 10pm, the courts are free to public except during a pickleball event.
