We have a number of private, semi-private and public golf courses in our area. Below is a short list of some of our more popular tracks.

Twin Isles Country Club

Situated on 180 acres in prestigious Burnt Store Isles, this is one of Charlotte County's premier country clubs. This par 72, 6722 yards, 18 - hole course provides a challenge for both the low and high handicap golfer. You can join Twin Isles as a golf, tennis or social member. They offer a top-notch formal dining room as well as a casual lounge. The club is the perfect spot for entertaining visitors or relaxing after one of their many activities.

St. Andrews South Golf Club

This 6106 yard, par 71 course is situated in the heart of Punta Gorda Isles, our largest waterfront development. Its 15 lakes and 48 sand bunkers provide a challenge for all golfers. Their dining room offers a luncheon menu and dinners for organized events. St. Andrews limits their members to fewer than 300 hundred and offers very affordable membership packages.

Burnt Store Marina Country Club

This is an "Executive Style" semi-private golf course that offers a mix of par 3 and par 4 holes. It is a 27 hole, 3959 yard course that meanders through the exclusive gated community of Burnt Store Marina. Don't let the shorter yardage fool you, most every hole offers a challenge of water and sand. It can humble even the low handicap golfer. Duffy's is a restaurant at the course that offers breakfast and lunch or in a short drive you may opt for lunch or dinner at Portobello's, a casual dining restaurant that overlooks the beautiful marina.

Kingsway Country Club

This is a private country club that offers a championship, par 72, 18 hole golf course. Ron Carl, Kingsway's original architect, was recently hired to renovate and improve the course. There are now 5 sets of tees, ranging from 5100 yards to over 7100 yards, providing an enjoyable experience regardless of age or skill level. Kingsway's greens were voted the best in southwest Florida by the Southwest Florida Seniors Association. If activities are what you're looking for, Kingsway offers golf, tennis, a fitness center, Garden Club, Book Club, Red Hat Club, card groups (Bridge, Gin & Poker), plus a beautiful new Clubhouse & Pro Shop.

Seminole Lakes Country Club

Seminole Lakes is a newer, gated community located in Punta Gorda. The 18 hole, par 62 golf course is a semi-private course that does not require dues or a monthly food minimum from its members. They also offer tennis, fitness center, dining room, pool and a poolside bar.

Deep Creek Golf Club

This semi-private course is located 2 miles off I-75 in Port Charlotte. The challenging Mark McCumber designed layout is an 18 hole, par 70 course featuring 6045 yards, 35 bunkers and 10 lakes. Don't let the par 70 fool you. This course is uniquely designed to challenge your course management skills. Deep Creek Golf Club offers a full Pro Shop with a new Clubhouse under way.

Riverwood Golf Club

This southwest Florida golf course is truly unique as a result of its design features, natural beauty and varying challenges. It was rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest. The front nine of this Gene Bates designed, par 72 championship golf course flows through heavily wooded terrain, rich in stands of natural pine. The back nine meanders amid salt marsh and wetlands. Surrounded by lush landscaping and native vegetation, each hole is a challenge, taking advantage of its natural setting. Par is achievable so that the result of a day's play is satisfaction and enjoyment.

Bobcat Trail Golf Club

Bobcat Trail Golf Club is one of southwest Florida's finest public courses. Bobcat Trail is rated by Golf Digest as a "must play 4 star course" and one of Florida's "top 30 public courses" in its 2003 "Places to Play" publication. The 6748 yards, par 71 course was designed by former Canadian Open and PGA Champion, Bob Tway, and architect Lee Singletary. It is a rewarding challenge for players of all skill levels.
